What NoSlop for LinkedIn is

NoSlop for LinkedIn is a Chrome extension that hides AI-written slop in your LinkedIn feed. On-device rules, no accounts, no telemetry. This page explains what the extension and this website do with data, in plain language.

The extension, by default

All scoring happens on your device. The extension reads the text of posts that appear in your LinkedIn feed and on post pages, scores them against a fixed set of pattern rules, and collapses the ones over your threshold. It has one Chrome permission, storage, used to remember your on/off state, your strictness setting, and a daily count of hidden posts. It makes no network calls, has no account system, and sends no analytics or crash reports.

Slop Score, when you turn it on

Slop Score is optional and off until you enable it in the popup and accept a consent card. When it is on:

• What is sent: the text of each post you scroll past (trimmed to 4,000 characters) and a random install identifier generated once on your device.
• Where it goes: to a Cloudflare Worker operated by NoSlop, which forwards the text to TypeSafe AI's Jev model for scoring.
• What is kept: a per-install daily counter used for rate limiting, deleted automatically after two days. Post text is never stored and never written to logs.
• What stays on your device: for each post Jev scores, a one-way fingerprint of its text (a SHA-256 hash) and its four scores, kept for seven days so a post you have already seen is not sent again. The text itself is not kept.
• What is never sent: your name, profile, connections, messages, the author of any post, or anything from pages other than the LinkedIn feed.

Turn Slop Score off at any time and the extension returns to fully on-device behaviour.

This website

noslop.lol sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts. It keeps aggregate, first-party counts of page views and of clicks on the install button: the page path, the referring site's domain, an optional campaign tag in the link you arrived from, the country Cloudflare reports, whether the device is mobile or desktop, and the day. To count automated traffic separately from people, it also notes whether a visit came from a cloud or hosting network such as AWS or Google Cloud, and records which one only for those visits; the internet provider of anyone visiting from home or a phone is never recorded. No IP addresses, no identifiers, nothing that follows you between visits. If you join the waitlist we store your email address and the time you signed up, use it to send one announcement when the extension is available, and delete it after that announcement or earlier on request. Signups are rate-limited by a hashed, salted form of your IP address that is kept for one hour and never stored in readable form.

When you uninstall the extension, Chrome opens a one-question page on this site. Answering is optional. If you do, we store the reason you picked, any note you typed, and the extension version, with no identifier of any kind, and delete it after 90 days.
