How do I hide AI-generated posts on LinkedIn?
Install NoSlop for LinkedIn from the Chrome Web Store. It scores every post in your feed on your device using eleven pattern rules and collapses the ones that read like AI slop into a small FILTERED card you can reopen with one click. A strictness slider sets how aggressive it is. LinkedIn's own "Seems like AI slop" button is a per-post report, not a filter: what it does and what it doesn't.
Is NoSlop an AI detector?
Yes, and a filter. Every post in your feed gets a score: eleven pattern rules on your device by default, or a calibrated % AI badge from Jev when you turn on Slop Score. Posts over your threshold are collapsed, not just labelled, and one click reopens them. It detects posts written by AI, not posts about AI: a human essay about ChatGPT stays, a generated post about gardening folds.
Does NoSlop read my messages or profile?
No. The extension only runs on the public feed and post pages, reads the text of the posts on screen, and never touches messages, your profile, or your connections. By default nothing leaves your browser.
Does it work on sites other than LinkedIn?
Not yet. NoSlop asks Chrome for permission on linkedin.com only. Other feeds may follow once the LinkedIn version is solid.
Will it break LinkedIn or get my account flagged?
It changes only what is displayed in your own browser, the same way a reader mode or an ad blocker does. It sends nothing to LinkedIn, clicks nothing, and posts nothing on your behalf.
